How quickly can a project move from first conversation to construction?

It depends on the solution and site complexity. Single-solution retrofits like water recovery can move from feasibility to construction in months. Larger integrated platforms spanning multiple pillars take longer, simply because there's more to design and finance.

Do you take ownership of the asset, or do we?

Either. Our Asset Ownership & Financing service line lets us own and operate infrastructure on your site under a BOO or BOOT structure, or we can deliver it under EPC and hand it over for you to own and run yourself.

What happens if my site doesn't fit neatly into one of the four solution pillars?

The four pillars — water, waste, low-carbon fuels and decarbonisation — cover a wide range of combinations. If your site touches water use, waste generation or emissions reduction, there's almost always a relevant starting point. Talk to us directly if you're unsure.

How is your work measured and verified?

It depends on the outcome. Water and waste solutions are measured against agreed performance metrics in the operating contract. Carbon and environmental outcomes go through full MRV (measurement, reporting and verification) against recognised registries and standards.

What's the typical contract structure?

It ranges from a straightforward EPC contract for a one-off build, through to long-term Water-as-a-Service or Build-Own-Operate agreements that run for the life of the asset. Project Advisory is available if you want help structuring the right one for your situation.

Do you work with existing infrastructure, or only new builds?

Both. A large share of our work is retrofitting and optimising existing treatment plants and infrastructure rather than building from scratch — it's often faster and more capital-efficient than a full rebuild.

How does financing work if we don't want to fund it upfront?

Our Asset Ownership & Financing service line structures the capital stack — including BOO/BOOT models — so the infrastructure gets built and operated without requiring your own capital outlay.
